I got the opportunity to work with two amazing gals that contacted me for photographing their work. I got to work with Lorraine from Little Cans of Beans and Cynde from Hip Chic Designs! Lorraine makes head pieces and Cynde makes clothing! Check out their sites to see more of their work. Here are some pics that I took of the head pieces and clothing that I was given to work with. Summer is here and to kick things off, I wanted to have a little fun! I am hosting my first ever Cutest Kids Contest! You will be able to enter a photo of your adorable child to win a free photo session and portrait package with Nancy Mitchell Photography!
The Premise: Cutest Kid Photo Contest
1. Have a little photo session! You must be a parent or legal guardian of your child. (or you can submit a recent picture (6 months or greater), if you prefer!)
2. Send your ONE favorite picture to me via e-mail (nancymitchellphotography@yahoo.com). Be sure to add your child’s name and age. I will then post them to a special contest album on my Facebook fan page.
3. Join my Facebook fan page.
4. Send people (your friends, family, co-workers, etc.) to join my Facebook fan page and VOTE for their favorite picture (i.e. YOURS!)
5. The winner will be announced on August 23rd based on the total number of likes for each entered image. Votes are counted as likes on each individual image/entry. A person must be a fan of my Facebook fan page to like a photo.
The Rules
1. Entries must be submitted by August 15th. I will post all entries on August 16th, and the voting will begin immediately!!
2. ONE entry per person.
3. ONE vote per person!
4. Voting will continue from August 16th through August 22nd! Winner will be announced on August 23rd!
5. Submitted images must be of a child 10 years old or younger.
6. For obvious reasons, photos taken by professional photographers will not be accepted.
7. only photos e-mailed to nancymitchellphotography@yahoo.com with the subject line CUTEST KID CONTEST will be accepted
THE PRIZE!
The winner will receive a complimentary photo shoot and a CD with the best shots in full-resolution with a print release! That is a [$350] value!!! The session must take place in local areas to Sylvania, OH and be redeemed by October 31st. A signed model release will also be required prior to the session. Your photo session must be booked within 10 days of winning, and completed before October 31, 2010.
Every entry will receive a $10 credit towards their next session with Nancy Mitchell Photography. limit one per household/family. must be used by October 31, 2010.
Runner up winner will receive a disc with 3 images from your session with Nancy Mitchell Photography, must be used by October 31, 2010. Session fee not included!
Prizes are not transferable to other persons.

I meet little Miss Khloe when she was born because YUP I was her mama’s nurse! Boy…oh…boy how time flies by! She wasn’t really in the mood today for pictures, but I did manage to get some cute shots! Isn’t she just adorable? I ♥ all her newborn rolls! I can’t wait to photograph her again! Thanks Mindy for letting me have the opportunity to see ya again!
This was an awesome DIVA birthday party for Jadyn who turned 8 years old. The party was held at Brodava Salon. The girls got to get their hair done, makeup done, pedicure, and manicure’s. They enjoyed some crafts and snacks too. The girls then got to show off their new do’s with photography by ME! Aren’t they just gorgeous? They were good sports and had some fun despite the chilly weather. I got the opportunity to photograph one of my BEST friends and her family! Velma and I work together and are great friends. Isn’t she just beautiful? Her daughter is a spittin’ image of her too! She was such a model posing for me. Velma’s son on the other hand was a little stinker. I hope you enjoy the pictures, I had fun shooting you:)
What a beautiful day for a photo shoot! I photographed a beautiful family today. They were all troopers. I also went to high school with Shawna. Shawna ♥’s photography too.
