“Whatever they grow up to be, they are still our children, and the one most important of all the things we can give to them is unconditional love. Not a love that depends on anything at all except that they are our children.” ~Rosaleen Dickson“
Today my daughter was sitting on my lap and wanted to see some pictures from our family vacation to Myrtle Beach this past summer. And it dawned on me that I have never blogged about our wonderful family trip. It was our first family trip that we drove anywhere. That in itself was an experience, but the kids enjoyed it and overall they were really good.
I remember being a child and driving to Georgia, Florida, and to Niles, Ohio many times. It is just something that as a child we all need to experience.
As we were driving though, my husband and I said….boy what did we used to do back in the day where there were only maps and no GPS to get us from point A to B? We are definitely spoiled. We did go to Myrtle Beach one way and home another, but hey we managed and got home safe and sound.
On our trip the kids liked the beach but LOVED the lazy river pool at the Anderson Ocean Club and Spa. I guess they didn’t like the feel of the sand??? Really! The boys went shark tooth hunting and found lots thanks to the Children’s Activity Guys.
We didn’t really explore much of Myrtle Beach….just enjoyed the sun, and family time mostly at the resort. Which to me and my husband meant the world. I know that the kids will definitely remember this for a lifetime and I am truly THANKFUL for the time together!
I can’t wait to plan our next adventure!

“I found the one my heart loves.”~Songs of Soloman 3:4
I have truly found the one my heart loves, my husband. I found him a long long time ago. I believe that it was fate that brought us together and it is GOD who keeps us together. I fell head over heals for that blue eyed, brown haired handsome man back in 1990! Yes, like I said it was many years ago. Where am I going with this story?
Everyone has the opportunity to find the one that your true heart loves if you truly believe…
Because I have been blessed with such an amazing TRUE LOVE STORY myself, I want to capture yours…. It is what I thrive!
I want to capture your love for one another on your wedding day!
I want to capture your LOVE story!
And I want to say THANKS to all my past Bride and Grooms that took a chance on me! And for all my current Brides and Grooms to be I can’t wait to spoil you rotten! I have lots in store for the upcoming year! May it be a great one blessed by much LOVE!
Hugs,
Nancy

“Depth of friendship does not depend on length of aquaintance.”~Rabindranath Tagore
What is a true friend? Do you know who your true friends are? What would your friend do for you? Would they help you when you are in need? Are they just a phone call away when you need them most? Will they tell you truth about your ideas or dreams? These are just some questions to ask yourself when you are considering someone a FRIEND in your life. Now you know that you will have MANY friends that will come and go in your lifetime, trust me…I have had many. But I must say thanks to that wonderful thing called FACEBOOK, some have came back into my life and I have acquired some new ones too! Today, I just wanted to get you thinking about who your true friends are and make sure that the ones you call your friends you are THANKFUL for them. I am cultivating my relationships with my friends. I want to enrich the bond that I have with my friends. I am at a point in my life where I must say that I am so THANKFUL for my friends, old and new! They are extremely important to have in your life. I know that my husband is my ultimate BEST FRIEND, but it is great to have some other TRUE great friends. In this past year I must say that I have made many NEW wonderful friends. I am super THANKFUL that I enlarged my circle of friends and created a new bond with some wonderful women.
So it happened yesterday again. A famous photographer, whom I may just call my friend commented on my blog again! I was STAR STRUCK by the talented Mary Marantz. I couldn’t believe that she YES actually reads my blog. I had the feeling like I was a kid on the first day of kindergarten….So EXCITED and HAPPY I could just pee my pants. So I started thinking, WOW if she is reading this blog who else is reading? I am hoping that if you are reading that you too make a comment or two, so I can be your NEW friend. We can always use a NEW friend in our lives.
Some of my newest friends I truly do cherish are my neighbors Katrina, Tracy, Jen, Kim. I also cherish the new friends I have made in the photography world. Some of these wonderful friends are Julie Story, Karen Stott, Elizabeth-Ann King, Mary Marantz, and Memoree Barrett.
Well I am hoping that you will open up your hearts and let yourself make some new friends with judgements.
“When we consider the blessings of God—the gifts that add beauty and joy to our lives, that enable us to keep going through stretches of boredom and even suffering-friendship is very near the top.”~Donald W. McCullough, Mastering Personal Growth
Until next time my friends…….
Here is a picture of Tracy, Katrina, & I out celebrating Tracy’s husband’s 40th birthday! I LOVE YOU GUYS!

“It is necessary, then, to cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.”~Wallace D. Wattles
I am in awe of all the support that I have gotten from a fellow photographer, whom I am Grateful to call my friend. Mrs. Karen Stott is such a caring and kind individual. She surely has a lot on her plate, but still makes the time to communicate with those that ask for help, inspiration, or love! I met Karen via the internet during the live showit talks and chats and there we connected via yup I said itFACEBOOK! She has her own photography business as well as she has started this amazing group of called PURSUIT 31. This group of women is so inspiring. Karen has made it possible to have workshops on how to handle your family along with your business. And boy oh boy do I need to one day attend this. I can only imagine what Karen has in store for those attending. She has a pure heart and she is so easy to talk to. She is serving through the LORD. She is sharing her knowledge and expertise on life and business and this to me is marvelous. I love that she has helped me through some struggles that I have been having and trying to push me to be a better wife and mother! I THANK YOU for that Karen! I am a work in progress, but through watching Karen succeed and knowing she went through the same struggles, I know that I can get there! So today who are you THANKFUL for? I can’t wait to one day meet Karen and her husband Isaac in person! I feel that we connect already on so many levels, I just wish we lived closer to each other! So Karen again THANK YOU for all that you have helped me through and I can’t wait to see what else you have to give me to push my limits even more! xoxo~nance

What are you thankful for? I am going to be trying to do a weekly Thankful Thursday post! Today I am thankful for my mother! I am thankful for multiple reasons. She is a very hardworker. She had me when she was 17 and my sister when she was 19 and I all I can remember is how much she cared for us and provided for us. She raised us to be respectful, honest, caring, determined, and educated. I know that she has some faults, but don’t we all? She still works very hard at her job and I give her credit for that! She helps us out when she can. She is a great grandma! My kids enjoy visiting her at her home or at her lakehouse! She gives us unconditional love. She is an inspiration to all the teen moms out there that think they can’t make it, YOU CAN! I am glad that she is my MOM and I wouldn’t ask for it any other way!
